Keenan Comartin, OCT, BA, MMus
Keenan Comartin is a trained classical guitarist living in Sudbury, Ontario. He is currently a part-time professor at Cambrian College teaching guitar majors and minors. He also teaches with Rainbow District School Board.
Mr. Comartin completed a masters degree in guitar performance from the University of Ottawa. He studied with world renowned guitarist Philip Candelaria, Patrick Roux, and Louis Trepanier. He received a diploma in Music performance from Cambrian College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Laurentian University, and a Bachelor of Education degree from Nipissing University. Throughout his studies, Keenan participated in many guitar competitions finishing with several awards.
Keenan has participated in masterclasses with world class guitarists such as Sergio Assad, Fabio Zanon, Arturo Parra, Rémi Boucher, Jacques Chandonnet, Denis Poliquin, Paul-André Gagnon, Jean Vallière, Robert Kubica, Jeffrey McFadden, and Patrick Kearney with compliments on style, originality and musicality.
